Freebooter’s snagged $1,200 worth of property from a parked car

A wretch snagged $1,200 worth of property from a vehicle on Neptune Avenue on Jan. 31. 

The victim told police that she left the car unattended and unlocked at the intersection of W. 12th Street to pick up her daughter at around 6:20 pm, and returned to her iPhone and Michael Kors wallet missing.

In the window

A lawbreaker swiped LED DJ lights and a laptop from a Brighton Sixth Street business on Jan. 31. 

The victim told police that the crook broke into the storefront between Brighton Beach Avenue and Brightwater Court at around 6 pm through an unlocked back window, and stole the ill-gotten goods.

Malware

Freebooters stole two laptops from a car parked at a Cropsey Avenue hardware store on Jan. 27. 

The victim told police that he returned to his car parked between Bay 53rd and the Cropsey Avenue bridge at around 11 am, and found $1,000 worth of property was taken.
