Lost in translation

Three subway-riding bandits robbed a sleeping straphanger at the Neptune Avenue station on Feb. 27. 

The victim told police that the pirates dragged the victim off of the train onto the platform near W. Sixth Street at around 3:15 am, and stole the man’s duffle bag. 

Burning rubber

A triad of bandits snagged the four tires off of a Honda Accord parked on W. 17th Street on Feb. 27. 

Security camera footage captured the three louts looting the tires — worth $3,353 — of the car between Bay 50th Street and Avenue Z at around 3 am. 

Off script

A freebooter swiped two pairs of prescription glasses and an automatic garage door opener from a W. Second Street parking garage on Feb. 27. 

The victim told police that he returned to his vehicle parked between Shore Parkway and Avenue Z at around 10 pm to find his window broken and $1,800 worth of property missing.
