Migrant stabbed by stranger

A 23-year-old migrant was stabbed by a stranger who bumped into him on a Clinton Hill street on Feb. 16.

Police reported that the victim, living in a nearby migrant shelter, was bumped into by an unknown man while walking down St. James Place at around 1:30 p.m. A scuffle broke out between the two men that ended with the migrant on the ground. The suspect then pulled out a small knife and stabbed the victim in the lower leg, causing a deep laceration.

EMS took the injured man to Woodhull Hospital after the suspect fled southbound on St. James Place.

High-schooler mugged on Q train

Four men threatened to kill a high school student during a Feb. 12 mugging aboard a Q train stopped in Fort Greene.

The 14-year-old boy told cops he was sitting on a southbound Q train at the Atlantic Avenue station at around 3 p.m, when four unidentified men approached him asking what model of phone he had.

One of the men had his hand in his pocket to simulate a firearm, according to the teen, who was told by another perp that if he did not cooperate, “we’re gonna kill you.” The men then snatched the teens iPhone and Apple airpods before running out of the station to parts unknown.

Cops said they are checking the station’s security cameras to identify the thieves.
