Elders put on the glitz and grooved to la dolce vita as they tripped the light fantastic during an Italian-themed senior ball at the Crown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
The nattily-attired golden set joined festive forces for an evening of mirth and merriment at the residential facility, 3457 Nostrand Avenue, where the sixth floor was transformed into an Italian garden.
The group feasted on an elegant meal, enjoyed entertainment and then took to the dance floor to show younger staffers how it’s really done.
The evening was part of the facility’s special events for its clients to ensure they are “full of smiles and enjoying their golden years,” said Recreation Director Diane Ryabo.
