Marine Park is going to the dogs – with awards to follow.
Man’s best pal offered a woof of approval and enjoyed an afternoon of sportsmanship at the emerald empire as the annual Doggie Olympics got underway.
Canine contestants challenged mettle in 25 fun-filled competitions, designed to bring out their skillful, lovable and obedient side; among them, “Best Dressed Dog,” “Frisbee Catch/Pounce,” “Doggie/Owner Dance” and “Small & Large Agility Course.”
The four-legged Olympians were awarded medals during a post-contest ceremony, sponsored by the Brooklyn Canarsie Lions.
