A hand for freshmen

Incoming freshmen attended a brunch at Saint Edmund Preparatory High School to help them become familiar with the school and meet some of their new classmates.

This special day was shared with their parents, administration and faculty members. School Principal Mr. Lorenzetti welcomed the Class of 2012 and informed the students that they will be the first class to use the new wing, which will house the technologically advanced library/fine arts/media center. Students, pictured, were given free T-shirts, spoke with teachers, and made new friends. They were also the first group of students allowed to purchase clothing from the new line of “Edmund-wear.” The special brunch and orientation, held in the school’s gymnasium, 2474 Ocean Avenue, was coordinated by Deacon Ron Rizzuto, director of admissions.
