Brighton Beach
It’s here! DII Convenience Store has opened its doors at a new location.
The neighborhood store that boasts everything from housewares to apparel relocated to a modern, state-of-the-art, 11,900-square-foot space, complete with parking spaces for customers.
“We are pleased to begin welcoming new and existing customers to this new ultra-modern location,” said Morris Dweck, principal at DII Enterprises. “This is a major upgrade from our previous space at 532 Neptune Ave.”
“The businesses which have long operated on the site 532 Neptune Ave., where the next phase of our retail development is planned, have been an important part of our vision from the beginning,” said Jacob Cohen, executive vice president of development at Cammeby’s. “By first constructing 626 Sheepshead Bay Rd., we’ve ensured DII and other community retailers have both continuity of operations and state-of-the-art facilities to call home.”
Founded in 1967 by Rubin Schron, Cammeby’s is a privately-held real estate company with a portfolio of office, residential, and industrial real estate assets throughout 14 states.
In addition to occupying the ground-floor retail space, DII Enterprises has moved its corporate headquarters to a 6,000-square-foot space on the third floor of the office component. Of the office component, 30,000 square feet are already occupied. The building’s retail base has two storefronts still available for lease.
Parking for DII customers is available inside the building’s parking arcade.
