A quartet of honorees was feted with awards and words of admiration when the Gowanus Canal Community Development Corporation held its annual awards dinner at Giando on the Water.
The recipients shared the spotlight during the 30th anniversary celebration at the popular dining establishment, 400 Kent Avenue, which lauded them for their support of the grassroots group.
The honorees were: Brooklyn Greenway Initiative, “Community Service”; Rep. Yvette Clarke, “Public Service”; Michael Ingui, former GCCDC chairperson, “Chairperson’s Award”; and Roger Marvel Architects, “Corporate Service.”
