Allstate Agents Gennaro De Simone and Christina De Simone, whose De Simone Enterprises office is at 7023 Avenue U, were named Agent Heroes by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region for awarding a $1,000 grant to a local youth program.
Gennaro and Christina De Simone donated a $1000 grant to the Delta Epsilon Beta sorority of St. John’s University’s Staten Island campus.
The donation will be used to help fund Delta Epsilon Beta’s vast number of volunteering and charitable activities, including sponsoring and taking part in defensive driving classes on campus, cemetery cleanings, food drives for the homeless, Autism Walk and Autism Awareness Fair, Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk and Avon Breast Cancer Walk, Light the Night Walk for Lymphoma, Toys for Tots, “Kids on Campus,” University Service Day, Covenant House, Lupus Awareness, and Bowl-a-thon for Batten’s Disease.
“As an Allstate Agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the community every single day,” says De Simone. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to Delta Epsilon Beta and hopefully touch the lives of the youth who are involved.”
