Citizens for a Better Community invites its neighbors to attend their Seventh Annual Family Day, August 9 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Paerdegat Park, Albany Avenue & Farragut Road.
This fun-filled day will feature sports, local musical entertainment, free food/drinks and giveaways.
There will also be a talent show for kids ages three to 16 with lots of great prizes. The event will be filmed by BCAT Television, channels 67/68.
Additionally, healthy information will be made available for attendees, representatives from local clinics will present educational sessions, visiting nurses will test blood press, and free or low cost insurance for families will be provided.
