Perky perps
Four thugs were arrested after a bar brawl at New York Perks on Dec. 26 spilled out onto Smith Street, cops said — the second incident at the nightclub in as many weeks.
Police responded to a report of shots fired at the bar between Baltic and Warren streets at around 3 am. When cops arrived and attempted to control the crowd, they were pushed by four bozos who encouraged others to join in the riotous atmosphere. No gun was found on the scene, but the four perps, all in their 20s, were arrested by Officer Joseph Odachowski and Sergeant John Schwartz.
Dastardly delivery
A thief stole a UPS package with a spiffy Yankee Stadium souvenir from a Court Street brownstone on Dec. 22, but the cops were watching the whole time.
The 56-year-old thief swiped the package at around 2 pm from the entrance of the house at Union Street. Unfortunately for the suspect, Officer Oscar Morales saw the whole thing, and was ready with the handcuffs.
The victim and her cool statuette were happily reunited.
Stick-up
A brigand brandished a 9 mm pistol mugged a man for his cash and cell near the F train station at Smith and Ninth streets on Dec. 30.
The armed youngster, along with two others, approached the 57-year-old victim near the station at around 11:30 pm, saying, “Give me your money.”
That’s when the two accomplices snatched the goods.
Burgled
Thieves stole electronics and jewelry from a Union Street house on Dec. 22.
The victim told cops that she left a set of house keys in her mailbox, only to return at around 2:15 pm and find that an unexpected visitor had stolen two laptops, a gold chain and a camera from the building, which is between Smith and Hoyt streets.
