Senior scam

Some shady lady stole a purse from a senior citizen on the corner of Fourth Avenue and 79th Street on March 4.

The 88-year-old victim told cops that she was walking home from the grocery store at around 3:30 pm when a younger woman approached her and asked for directions. When the elderly woman turned to point towards a route, the perp grabbed her purse from her shopping cart and fled. The senior’s blue bag contained cash and cards.

Gadget grab

Someone broke into a Bay Ridge Avenue apartment on March 6 to steal an impressive collection of electronic gadgets.

The tech-savvy victim told cops that she left her pad, which is between 68th and 69th streets, at 7 am and returned at 8 pm to find that two laptops, two cameras, three cellphones, a television and an Xbox were gone. The thief also made off with glasses and at least two watches.

What the truck

Someone sneaked into a truck parked near the intersection of 86th Street and Third Avenue, making off with the driver’s wallet, laptop, keys and navigation system.

The victim told cops that he left his ride at 9 am and returned four hours later to find that his stuff was gone.

Brick city

Some jerk jacked the tires and rims from a gray Honda sedan on 74th Street on March 9.

The victim told cops that she left her ride between Sixth and Seventh avenues at midnight. Within four hours, thieves stripped the car, leaving it on bricks.

Sticky fingers

A thief broke into a Fourth Avenue apartment on March 10 to steal a diamond ring and a camera.

The victim told cops that she left her crib, which is between 86th and 87th streets, at noon. She returned seven hours later to find her possessions missing, but she didn’t notice any signs of forced entry.

Colonial caper

Some jerk grabbed a woman’s purse on Colonial Road on March 11.

The victim told cops that she was between 79th and 80th streets at around 7 pm when a 5-foot-6 dude approached her, pointed to her handbag and said, “Give me that.”

He then shoved the woman, snatched her purse and fled.
