iPhone grab

A thief snagged an iPhone from a 33-year-old train commuter entering the Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum station on Feb. 9 — with a little help from his friends.

The victim was sitting on the train at 12:40 pm when the thief grabbed the pricey smartphone from his hands and headed for the door.

The 33-year-old chased after the thief, but the punk’s friends grabbed him and forced him back into the subway car.

8 is enough

Call them the octo-thugs: Eight goons jumped a 13-year-old boy near the corner of St. Johns Place and Grand Army Plaza on Feb. 10, taking his cellphone and wallet.

The victim was approaching the corner when the teenage suspects ran up and grabbed him by the arm.

“Stop moving before my man catches you,” one of the thieves said before the crew patted their victim down and emptied his pockets.

Water whisk

A thief crept into a Washington Avenue home on Feb. 8, snagging the building’s water meter.

The owner of the home between Bergen Street and St. Marks Avenue was cleaning out his basement at 2 pm when the theft occurred.

Help wanted

A goon who applied for a job at the Kings Pharmacy on Flatbush Avenue ensured he won’t be considered for another position when he threatened a manager on Feb. 8.

Workers at the store between Carlton and Sterling places said that the man applied for the job, then called back at 4:20 pm to find out when he could start. When he was told that he didn’t get the job, he told the manager that he was going to come over and beat him up.

Vehicle villains

At least two cars were looted in Prospect Heights last week. Here’s what happened:

• A thief broke into a car parked on Washington Avenue on Feb. 13, taking the vehicle’s radio.

The car was between Sterling and St. Johns places at 10 pm when the crook smashed the passenger side window and yanked the radio out of its housing.

• Someone smashed his way into a car near the corner of Plaza Street East and St. Johns Place on Feb. 10, taking a wallet from the cabin.

The break-in took place just after 11 am.
