iPhone grab
A thief snagged a 26-year-old woman’s iPhone on Nov. 5 during a lightning-fast confrontation on Court Streets.
The victim was approaching Sackett Street at 12:30 am when the thief ran by, snagging the smartphone out of her hands.
Nelson nip
A thief broke into a Nelson Street home on Nov. 1, taking an Apple MacBook.
The tenant in the apartment between Hamilton Avenue and Clinton Street said that he left his pad at 2:35 pm and returned two hours later to find his door kicked in and his laptop missing.
Car lunacy
Thieves preyed on four cars last week. Here’s what happened:
• A music lover busted into 2007 Chrysler Town and Country parked on Verona Street on Nov. 3, taking a guitar. The owner had left the car between Dwight and Verona streets for three hours after parking at 3:50 pm.
• A crook swiped a side view mirror from a 2000 Honda Civic on Degraw Street between Smith and Hoyt Street after 6 pm on Oct. 30.
• Someone forced his way into a 1999 Mercedes Benz near the corner of Court and Union streets on Oct. 28 — but only took the luxury car’s title.
• Cops arrested a 59-year-old thief they say broke into a 2006 Toyota Corolla near the corner of Court and Huntington streets on Nov. 6.
