She caught a ride — to jail.
A Marine Park woman has been arrested and charged in the freaky crash that left the front end of a sport utility vehicle sitting on top of a Q train in Ditmas Park on March 19.
The 20-year-old was driving her father’s Nissan down Albemarle Road toward the street’s dead-end at a subway ditch just after E. 16th Street, at around 5:22 am on Wednesday morning, according to police. When she reached the end of the street, she plowed through the fence, over the concrete barricade, and onto the roof of a Coney Island-bound Q train, photos show.
She fled the scene on foot, cops said. Hours later, she filed a bogus police report stating that two men had carjacked her and were behind the wheel when the gas guzzler went flying, according to a criminal complaint.
The woman was charged with filing a false police report and leaving the scene of an accident. Her attorney could not be reached for comment.
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Transit Authority said there were about 50 people on board the train when the vehicle came crashing down. The vehicle was removed by 7:15 am, she said.
No injuries were reported, police said.
