Police have arrested a suspect in a Sept. 23 murder in Flatlands.
Police found Sherod Watford murdered in his Avenue M home last week, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds in his stomach and forearm, according to a police spokesman.
On Sept. 28, police arrested man who lives just three blocks away from Waterford, on Flatbush Avenue, on charges of second-degree murder.
The Medical Examiner determined that the cause of death was blunt- and sharp-force injuries as well as intense choking.
