Stabbed on Cropsey
A 42-year-old had a knife raked across his face March 24 during a bloody brawl with a stranger on Cropsey Avenue.
The victim told police that he was nearing Bay 20th Street at 6 pm when he got into an argument with suspect Timothy Egan.
During an exchange of heated words, Egan, 29, lashed out with the knife, catching the victim’s cheek. Egan also allegedly stabbed the victim in the arm, back and head, leaving him with puncture wounds and deep cuts that doctors needed to staple closed.
The victim was treated at a local hospital. Investigators from the 62nd Precinct caught up with Eagan a few days later, charging him with assault in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon.
Bank bust
Cops have arrested the note passing bandit wanted for robbing a Gravesend bank.
Prosecutors said investigators connected the December 11 heist to Hiklyn Ortiz, 32, this week.
He allegedly entered the Sovereign Bank on Avenue U and McDonald Avenue at 12:30 pm and passed a note reading “Count out $5,000 and no one will get shot. Somebody is watching you.”
“Don’t try anything stupid,” the note pleaded. “Please don’t make me kill you.”
The frightened teller allegedly handed Ortiz an undisclosed amount of cash, said police, who also connected Ortiz to a bank robbery on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights.
Terrible trio
Three gunman are being sought for holding up two men in Bath Beach and Bensonhurst on March 27.
Police were told that crew’s first victim was walking past Bay 26th and 86th streets at 12:15 am when the suspects, only identified as white males, attacked, demanding he fork over his cash.
One of the men had a pistol in his hand, officials said.
After a brief struggle, the victim handed over everything he had, which only amounted to $5 and a cell phone, police said.
About five minutes later, the three suspects reportedly jumped a 15-year-old found walking along 20th Avenue near 86th Street.
As the thugs approached, they asked the teen what he had in his bag, the victim said.
Before he could respond, one of the thieves pistol-whipped him and robbed him of his property — $10, a MetroCard and a cell phone, officials said.
Cops are asking anyone with information regarding these two incidents to come forward.

Credit crunch
A 33-year-old went ballistic in a Coney Island deli after he learned that workers weren’t going to extend credit to him anymore.
After hearing the bad news from Balli Deli, 2616 Ocean Parkway, suspect Pierre Colas allegedly exploded in a fit of rage and attacked the two workers, leaving them with cuts and bruises.
One of the two men had to be treated at a local hospital, officials said.
Responding officers took Colas into custody a short time later, charging him with assault in the third degree.
Synagogue steal
Cops are searching for the thieves who busted into a 17th Avenue synagogue over the weekend.
With Passover just days away, worshippers at Congregation Titeres Miriam said someone busted through a basement window of the synagogue near 65th Street sometime between March 26 and March 28.
Once inside, the thieves removed some electronics, a flat screen television and raided a vending machine. A hard drive to the synagogue’s computer was also taken, police were told.
Batchelder beat
A 28-year-old Sheepshead Bay woman and her sister were attacked when five fiends burst into her Batchelder Street apartment.
The victim said that she and her sibling were at her home, located inside the Sheepshead/Nostrand Houses near Avenue V, when one man and five women forced their way in at 1 a.m.
One of the men flashed a gun while his female accomplices attacked both women with a baseball bat, leaving each with a smattering of bruises and scratches.
Cops called to the scene apprehended the five alleged suspects, identified as 43-year-old Rodney Jordan, 21-year-old Dominique Harris, 42-year-old Nancy Ramos, 27-year-old April Walters and 31-year-old Juanita DeJesus, without incident.
All were charged with assault.
Tag — he’s it
With the police closing in, a would-be graffiti vandal who tagged up Gravesend with his moniker “Mode” walked into the 61st Precinct and confessed to his misdeeds March 26.
Officials said that the vandal, identified by police as 18-year-old Christopher Rampino, said that he scrawled Mode at seven locations, including Village Road East near West Street, McDonald Avenue near Whitney Place, Avenue U near Lake Street and West 7th Street near Avenue U.
After his confession, cops took him into custody, charging him with multiple counts of making graffiti,
Wallet plucker penned
A 53-year-old thief was arrested March 28 after he allegedly swiped a wallet from a Coney Island straphanger.
The victim said that he was on a train approaching the Stillwell Avenue station just before 3 am when suspect Brian Mack plucked his wallet from his back pocket.
Mack tried to run to another car, but didn’t get far. After struggling with Mack at the Stillwell Avenue station, cops recovered the stolen wallet, along with a stolen cell phone and seven box cutters, officials said.
Mack was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
Car raider busted
A 21-year-old has been connected to three car break-ins on Avenue W and Ocean Parkway March 27.
Police said that Igor Tretyakov was reportedly found trying to break into a 2008 Lexus on Ocean Parkway near Avenue W at 12:30 am. He then turned onto Avenue W and broke into a 1998 Dodge Stratus and a 2010 Toyota Camry found between Ocean Parkway and Coney Island Avenue.
Prosecutors said that despite his efforts, Tretyakov made off with a handful of quarters and a pair of sunglasses during the three car thefts.
