Aviators fall to Bluefins in ugly 3-0 shutout

Talk about getting schooled!

The Brooklyn Aviators drowned under an overwhelmingly icy Bluefins advance on Saturday, falling 3-0 during an ugly shutout at Floyd Bennett Field.

There’s very little to say about this muck up: Brooklyn outshot Cape Cod 39-29, but couldn’t get a single puck past Bluefins’ netminder Chris Testa.

In turn, the Fish out skated their Brooklyn opponents, catching Aviators’ goalie Jo St. Pierre off guard at least once in each frame.

Brooklyn has lost four of the last six outings against the Fish — with two of the defeats occurring in overtime.

The Brooklyn Aviators will be sticking around to take on the Akwesasne Warriors at Aviator Sports [3159 Flatbush Ave. in Floyd Bennett Field in Marine Park, (718) 758-7580] Dec. 11 at 5 pm. Tickets $12 ($10 for seniors and children under 14) For information, visit www.brooklynaviators.com
