Metro SportsMed will present a free lecture on “Back Pain and Arthritis,” featuring guest speaker Nicola Hawkinson, NP – affiliated with Frank Schwab, spine surgeon, New York Methodist Hospitalâ„ Hospital For Joint Diseasesâ„ NYU.
The lecture will be from 7−8 p.m., May 7 at Metro SportsMed, 263 Seventh Avenue, suite 2A in Park Slope. Refreshments will be served.

Awards Program
Additionally, Metro SportsMed presents the Tenth Annual Metro Sportsmed Scholar Athlete Awards Program.
Scholarships in the amount of $3,500 will be offered to three outstanding females and three outstanding male students in the graduating class of 2009.
Applicants must be a college−bound senior, attend a Brooklyn high school, and demonstrate excellence in academics as well as athletics.
