Smash and grab
Two baddies robbed a store and assaulted the owner on 86th Street on April 8.
The two men entered the store between W. Eighth and W. Ninth streets at approximately 2:30 p.m., before grabbing several items and fleeing, police reported. The store owner then confronted the two baddies outside, at which point they hit him with a glass bottle and kicked him repeatedly, before running off toward Avenue W, according to cops.
The victim was transported to Coney Island hospital for treatment, police said.
Cellphone bandit
A thief stole a phone from an Avenue U electronics store on April 9 and threatened an employee.
Police say the sneak entered the store, between McDonald Avenue and West Street, shortly after 3 p.m., and slipped a cellphone into his pocket. When a store employee confronted the perp, he brandished a knife and fled the store, toward Lake Street, cops said.
Kings Highway robbery
A mugger assaulted a woman and stole her cellphone on Kings Highway on April 9.
The woman was between E. 12th and E. 13th streets shortly before midnight, when the perp came up behind her, pulled her hair, and grabbed the phone, before fleeing towards Coney Island Avenue, according to police.
Fast and furious
A home invader stole a motorcycle from an E. 26th Street home on April 9.
The baddie broke a lock on the garage door at the home between Avenues U and X between midnight and 7 a.m., and stole the vehicle, according to police.
