Get back on board with CIRCUSundays! The Waterfront Museum’s beloved circus show on a boat has returned to Red Hook.

Every Sunday this June, the Waterfront Museum will present a new show — complete with clowns, jugglers, acrobats and more — aboard its restored 1914 wooden barge.

“It’s a variety show that hosts a lot of unusual and eccentric acts and approaches what one might have seen on a showboat,” Waterfront Museum President David Sharps told GO Brooklyn. “It’s steeped in showboat tradition and also features the performers of tomorrow.”

This year, Dikki Ellis (aka The Clown Prince of Slackwire, pictured) will perform on June 29 and on June 22, 18-year-old aerialist Alice Shi will perform a kind of “ballet in the air” above the audience.

CIRCUSundays are at 1 pm and 4 pm through June 29 at the Waterfront Museum (290 Conover St. at Pier 44 in Red Hook). Tickets ordered in advance are $16 for adults, $10 for children 12 and younger, $18/$12 at the door. For more information, visit www.waterfrontmuseum.org.
