Bat-wielding thrashers

A band of baseball bat-wielding bullies bashed a man in the head on Fifth Avenue after following him home from work on Nov. 22.

The 38-year-old victim told cops he was at Saint Marks Place, driving home at 5:30 am when the angry posse blocked him in with their cars. The scoundrels jumped out of their rides and smashed the victim’s car windows in with their weapons of choice.

When the perps were through beating up his car they struck him in the head, which caused swelling.

The victim had to be treated by emergency services.

Patient robbery

A heartless bandit stole pricey jewelry from a woman while she was having surgery at a Sixth Street hospital on Nov. 20.

The 52-year-old victim told police that she placed her $2,000 yellow metal chain and $1,000 white stone earrings inside the room of the hospital between Seventh and Eighth avenues for safekeeping before she went under the knife at 1 pm.

When she went to fetch her goods at 3:50 pm they were missing.

Money bagger

A thief snagged a woman’s purse containing a wad of cash when she was shopping for shoes inside an Atlantic Avenue department store on Nov. 19.

The 32-year-old victim told cops that she placed her pocketbook down on a bench inside the store near Flatbush Avenue at about 6 pm. When she turned around, her bag holding $530 in cash and credit cards was gone.

Motorcycle jacked

A crook jacked a man’s 2010 black Sym Symba motorcycle from Sixth Avenue on Nov. 23.

The 32-year-old victim told cops that he parked his sweet ride between King and Prince streets at 8 pm.

When he went to get on his $2,200 bike at 4 pm the next day, it was gone.

In the blink of an eye

A sly crook jacked a woman’s pocketbook containing $2,000 in cash when she was shopping at an Atlantic Avenue department store on Nov. 23.

The 32-year-old victim told cops that she took her eyes off her cart at 3 pm for just a few minutes while she was scouring through the chain store near Flatbush Avenue.

When she turned back around her purse was gone.

Bag snatcher

A bandit copped a woman’s backpack, holding a lump sum of cash, from her shopping cart when she was perusing through an Atlantic Avenue department store on Nov. 20.

The 67-year-old victim told police that while she was shopping at the franchise store near Flatbush Avenue at 4:15 pm she noticed that her backpack containing $800 in cash was swiped.

Money hungry

A crook snagged a man’s wallet after he left it inside an Atlantic Avenue grocery store on Nov. 21.

The 27-year-old victim told cops that after he finishing paying for his foodstuffs at the store near Flatbush Avenue at 7:50 pm he realized only minutes later that he left his wallet by the register.

When he went to go retrieve his wallet, holding $100 in cash, it was gone.
