Bay Ridge Nights presents New Years’ weekend in the Ridge!

It’s time to ring in the new year in the Ridge!

Start your weekend by dancing on down to the Greenhouse Café (7177 Third Ave. between 77th and 78th streets) on Friday night to hear the sounds of the Head and South Band, which plays classic and Southern rock along with covering a healthy repertoire of hits by the Eagles, the Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker, and Fleetwood Mac. The free show kicks off at 10 pm.

On Saturday afternoon, head over to The Leif Bar (6725 Fifth Ave. between 67th and 68th streets), where London Fogg will take you across the pond by performing songs made famous by some of Britain’s most beloved musical acts. The Staten Island-based septet will cover rock hits by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield, the Moody Blues, and more in its free set, which begins at 4 pm.

And after a good night’s sleep, get ready to party the night — and year — away with a Sunday New Year’s Eve bash at Fort Hamilton army base’s community club (207 Sterling Dr. at Sheridan Loop). The party features three deejays and three bars spread out among three rooms, each of which will boast a different soundtrack: pop hits in one, reggaeton and salsa in another, and classic jams in the third. Revelers who work up an appetite busting a move can eat their fill of food before the midnight champagne toast. Standard tickets will set you back $80, and the premium-admission package — which includes an engraved champagne bottle, five premium-drink tickets, and reserved seats in the main bar — costs $125. Call (718) 765–7368 for reservations.
