A milestone was hailed with cheers and a trip down memory lane when the Bay Ridge Preparatory School celebrated its 10th anniversary at the El Caribe Country Club.
More than 400 people assembled at the catering facility, 5945 Strickland Avenue, for the special occasion and an accompanying program of presentations and keynote speeches.
Close to 100 prizes were raffled off, including a Caribbean vacation for two, an autographed photograph from New York Yankees’ Captain Derek Jeter and a behind-the-scenes tour of Channel 7 by the anchors of “Eyewitness News.”
The Bay Ridge Prep Jazz Band and a deejay provided the entertainment.
Founded in 1998, the school is an independent college preparatory learning institution for Grades K through 12 at 8101 Ridge Boulevard.
