Training day
Two women stole a straphanger’s phone and beat her up when she tried to give chase on June 17.
The perps ripped an iPhone 4 from the victim’s grasp at around 2:30 am on a Queens-bound G train as it arrived at the Carroll Street station.
The unlucky passenger tried to pursue the thieves, but they turned around, threw her to the ground, and punched her in the stomach, police said.
Purse pilfered
A crook snatched a woman’s purse on Court Street on June 17.
The victim told cops she was sitting between 2nd and 3rd places when the thief grabbed the bag — which contained a wallet, credit card, NYU ID, MetroCard, and $10 — and fled.
Phone home
Cops arrested three teens accused of snatching a woman’s cellphone inside the Carroll Street train station on June 24.
The victim was on an F train that had just pulled into the stop at around 10:30 pm when a crook grabbed the phone and fled with his accomplices, according to police.
Cops arrived and canvassed the neighborhood before cuffing three suspects, ages 17, 15, and 14, at the corner of Court and Huntington streets.
Police say they recovered the Samsung phone when they took the teens into custody.
Beauty products and the beast
Police cuffed a 43-year-old accused of stealing more than $150 worth of shampoo and wrinkle cream from a Smith Street pharmacy on June 17.
An employee at the Rite Aid at the corner of Warren Street told cops he saw a man grabbing beauty products and exiting the store at 4:55 pm.
Officers say they apprehended a suspect about 5 minutes later and recovered the goods — and police sources say he was likely planning to sell the merchandise on the street, not use the shampoo and wrinkle cream himself.
Too easy
A teen dropped a gun and fled when he crossed paths with a cop on Hicks Street on June 19 — but he ran directly into another officer, according to police.
Police cuffed a 16-year-old suspect who allegedly chucked a loaded Sturm, Ruger & Company .357 revolver to the ground and sprinted away after he spotted an officer near the corner of Mill Street at 8:20 pm.
Luckily for investigators, the suspect happened to collide with another officer who was on foot patrol nearby, police sources say.
Cops say the teen was also carrying a bag containing marijuana.
Bag snag
Police cuffed a 21-year-old accused of stealing a black backpack from a Court Street pharmacy on June 20 and roughhousing a shop employee and cops who tried to stop him.
A worker at the shop on Court Street near First Place told investigators the thief shoved him to the ground at 7:40 pm and fled from the store with the bag.
Cops encountered the suspect at the corner of Clinton and Sackett streets and tried to place him under arrest, but he fought back, an officer said.
The suspect has been charged with robbery and resisting arrest.
