Become a volunteer Shore Line Trolley Museum operator

Ever have nostalgia about the trolley car days of Brooklyn? Now you can indulge that fantasy and turnback the clock.

Did you know that the trolleys at the Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven, Connecticut, are operated by an all-volunteer crew? The museum is actively seeking additional volunteers to operate the cars and present the story of the trolley to visitors. Volunteers represent all ages, walks of life and places of residence.

No prior experience is needed. Their comprehensive training program will teach you everything you need to know. Training sessions meet Saturdays, February 27 and March 6, 13, 20 and 27.

If you’re 18 years of age or over and would like to be a volunteer trolley operator, call 203-467-6927 or email [email protected]. The museum is at 17 River Street. For more, visit www.bera.org.
