A 4-year-old boy is in critical condition after a fire tore through an 84th Street home on Feb. 17.
The blaze broke out in the two-family home between 24th and 25th streets in Bensonhurst at 7:15 am, officials said.
Firefighters pulled the boy and four others from the building, a Fire Department spokesman said.
The boy suffered smoke inhalation and burns, and paramedics took him to Coney Island Hospital in critical condition. The other four received minor injuries and were taken to area hospitals, officials said.
The department had the blaze under control by 8 am, according to a department spokesman.
