Talk about drive-through banking!
An elderly woman in a brand-new Lexus crashed into the Citi Bank on Ralph Avenue on Sept. 15. The woman smashed her grey Lexus RX350 into the bank between Avenue J and Flatlands Avenue at around 9:15 am, shattering the bank’s glassy vestibule, which houses its cash machines, said photographer Paul Martinka, who was on the scene.

Business as usual: A customer takes out money from the bank with the car still crashed through the glass.

The bank was full of customers and tellers, but no one was hurt in the crash — the driver and her sister in the passenger seat were both visibly shaken but refused medical attention, the photographer said.
Police did not have a record of the crash, a department spokesman said.

Shattered glass: The car went right through the glass window.
