BK street enjoys a bevy of block party fun

Block party madness hit Gerritsen Beach with the force of one of those big hammer-shaped balloons last week as residents of Bevy Court between Channel and Devon avenues held a special last summer blast celebration with all the trimmings.

Neighborhood kids spent the day testing out their acrobatic skills in a bounce house as neighbors gathered together for a scrumptious barbecue meal – always hoping that the summer could last another ten months.
