Block Party fever grips East 35th St. residents

It’s official: Residents of Fillmore Avenue know how to put on a block party!

Organizers for the fun-filled Saturday made sure that the car-free block between East 37th and East 38th Streets were teeming with fun activities for kids and adults alike.

At every corner of the block there were bounce houses, jumbo water slides and sporting activities. There were even areas set aside for the less active — happy adults who wanted to kick back, eat some good food and gossip with friends and neighbors.
