Brutally stabbed
A thug attacked a 20-year-old outside the Sheepshead Bay train station on March 13, stabbing his victim three times during the near-fatal attack.
Witnesses said that the bloodshed began at about 9 pm on the Sheepshead Bay Road entrance to the station, which is at E. 16th Street.
The thug fled Sheepshead Bay Road in a white Infiniti, leaving his victim, a resident of Staten Island, bleeding out in the street.
Paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital, where he’s currently on the mend.
No charges
Cops will not be charging the off-duty state Corrections officer involved in the March 8 Bensonhurst bloodbath that ended in a 77-year-old’s death.
The 25-year-old Corrections officer was inside a Bath Avenue barber shop near 17th Avenue when the 77-year-old, who police sources identified as a neighbor and a long-time rival, came in and sparked an argument at 1:30 pm.
The senior pulled a gun during the heated exchange, but the 25-year-old pulled his own gun, shooting the senior in the face.
Radio Shack raid
A thief busted his way into a Nostrand Avenue Radio Shack on March 11, taking three phones and $65 in change.
Workers told police that someone cut through the metal roll down gate to the store, which is between Avenues X and Y, at about 4:30 am.
He then threw a brick through the locked glass door in order to get inside, workers told police.
Swipe and smash
A thief swiped a 1997 Mitsubishi parked on Gravesend Neck Road on March 12 — only to smash the stolen car up on Kings Highway.
Cops arrested the 26-year-old thief following the accident, which happened between E. 17th and E. 18th streets, at 9:37 pm. It had been stolen two hours before, the owner of the car told police.
Drillin’ time
Thieves tunneled their way into the Quick Stop on Sheepshead Bay Road on March 12, taking more than $5,000 in cash and 80 cartons of cigarettes.
Workers said the thieves entered an adjoining store, which is between E. 14th and E. 15th streets, sometime after midnight and drilled a hole through the common wall in order to get inside.
Trading up
A thief swapped an empty Electronic Benefits Transfer card for several bags of groceries on March 13 inside the Food Basics on Coyle Street.
Workers at the grocery store, which is between Avenues U and V, said the thief put four boxes of pasta, two bags of potato chips, a bag of shrimp and a donut on the counter at 9:15 am.
He handed the cashier the card and ran off with the groceries before she learned it had no money on it.
Smashing failure
A thief busted his way into a 2009 Nissan Maxima parked on Voorhies Avenue on March 12 — but took nothing.
The owner of the car said she parked the vehicle between Bragg and Knapp streets at 7:30 pm. She returned to it the next day to find the front passenger window shattered, but nothing missing.
Robbed on delivery
A thief raided a UPS truck making deliveries on Batchelder Street on March 11 — but ended up getting a hodgepodge of prizes.
The UPS delivery man said he left his truck parked between Avenue Y and Z at 9 pm to drop off a parcel.
He returned to his vehicle a short time later and found it had been looted. An inventory later reveled that two Blackberry cellphones and two fishing poles were the only things missing.
Prickly scene
Three teenage girls attacked a peer during a March 11 confrontation at the Cactus Restaurant on Nostrand Avenue.
The victim told police she was inside the eatery, which is between Avenues Y and Z, at 3:30 pm when she got into an argument with the girls, who pulled her hair and slapped her in the face.
Brutal bat attack
A thug with a baseball bat brutally assaulted a 36-year-old man on 20th Avenue on March 5, leaving his victim hospitalized.
Horrified witnesses told police that the brutal assault took place at 12:50 pm near 78th Street. The victim was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
It was unclear if the victim knew his attacker.
Capital offense
A note-passing bandit robbed an Ocean Avenue Capital One bank on March 8, taking an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the thief entered the bank, which is between Voorhies Avenue and Shore Parkway, at 10 am, but didn’t harm anyone as he handed over his threatening note before fleeing the scene with the loot.
Senior bitten
A goon lobbed rocks and ordered his pit bull to sic an 80-year-old man he was arguing with on Coyle Street on March 2.
Witnesses said the younger man was arguing with the senior at 5:45 pm between Avenues X and Y when he started his attack.
Witnesses said the senior was hit with rocks and bitten in the calf, and that he now fears for his safety.
