Bad way to end the day

Cops cuffed a 25-year-old man who they said choked a woman before stealing her phone on Ashland Place on July 23.

The victim said she was walking home from work at 8:30 pm, and when she got to the corner of Willoughby Street, the suspect approached her and started an argument.

The accused shoved her and throttled her before grabbing the device and taking off, cops said. Officers arrested the fellow minutes later, a police report said.
