Police are searching for a man who shot a brother and sister in a 53rd Street apartment in Sunset Park on June 7.
The shooting occurred around 12:15 pm, when the perp — who police describe as a 20-year-old man — shot a 21-year-old man and his 16-year-old sister inside the building between Eighth and Ninth avenues after a dispute.
The suspect shot the man in the leg and hand and shot the girl in the leg before he fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said, adding that emergency medical personnel brought both victims to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition.
There were no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
