Sex attack
Someone sexually assaulted and robbed a woman — at knifepoint — as she walked home on 20th Avenue on Nov. 14.
The 16-year-old victim was between 78th and 79th streets at around 10:30 pm when a man came up from behind, held a knife to her neck. The victim fought back, but the suspect managed to drag her into a nearby driveway, where he grabbed her cellphone from her pocket and ran off.
Directionless
Two men cornered and robbed a teenage boy on 20th Avenue on Nov. 13.
The 15-year-old victim told police he was at the corner of Bay Ridge Parkway at around 2:30 pm when the two men walked up to him and asked for directions.
When the boy stopped to help, one of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s phone. The victim handed over the device, and the two suspects fled.
Phone-y attack
Two men attacked and robbed a woman on West Seventh Street on Nov. 9.
The victim, 23, told cops she was turning the corner at Avenue U at around 3:30 am when the two suspects ran up behind her. One of them put her in a chokehold, while the other grabbed her phone and wallet. The thugs then ran off toward West Seventh Street.
Ice burgs
At least two neighborhood homes were burgled last week:
• First, someone broke into a Benson Avenue home on Nov. 11.
The 27-year-old owner of the home, which is at the corner of Bay 28th Street, told police he left for work at around 8:30 am. When he and his wife returned eight hours later, they found one of the house’s windows wide open, their bedroom ransacked, and $300 and jewelry gone from inside.
• Two days later, someone broke into an Ovington Avenue house, between 14th and 15th avenues. The owner said he arrived home at 1:30 pm to find a kitchen window wide open and electronics and jewelry gone from inside.
Handgrabbed
Someone snatched a woman’s handbag from Bath Avenue pharmacy on Nov. 14.
The 62-year-old victim told police she was inside the pharmacy, which is between 21st Avenue and Bay 26th Street, at around noon. She placed her purse on the counter and turned away for about 10 seconds, but that was enough time for someone to grab the bag — as well as the cellphone and debit and credit cards that were inside.
