Backpack baddie

A cad dragged a woman down the street by her backpack on 10th Avenue on Dec. 7, authorities said.

The woman told police she was walking between 63rd and 64th streets at 1 am when a man grabbed her backpack from behind and dragged her to the ground.

After dragging the woman several feet, he ripped the bag free and bolted down the block, officials said.

Where’s my car?

A carjacker made off with a grocery store’s van on Bay Ridge Avenue on Dec. 6, according to police.

The owner told police he parked the black Ford Ecovan between Sixth and Seventh avenues and locked the doors, but when he returned at 7:45 pm, the car was gone, said authorities.

Excessive amount

Police arrested a man after they discovered a cache of drugs in his car on the corner of 92nd Street and Fourth Avenue on Dec. 9, a police report states.

Officers pulled over the man at 1 am who was driving a black Nissan Altima for failing to signal, officials said. When the man rolled down his window to speak with police, an excessive odor of marijuana emanated from the car.

Upon further inspection, authorities discovered the man was in possession of 35 glassine envelopes containing heroin, 23 Ziploc bags of crack cocaine, and four plastic tubs of crack cocaine, police said.

Close shave

A thief stole a dozen razors from a Third Avenue Rite Aid on Dec. 10, said police.

A witness at the store near Bay Ridge Parkway told police that at 5:50 pm a man shoved the shavers into a Century 21 shopping bag. The bandit fled on foot in an unknown direction, authorities said.
