Five against one
Five snakes stole a guy’s phone and kicked him on Pacific Street on April 2, police said.
The 33-year-old victim told police he was near Atlantic Avenue at about 9:50 pm when the five crooks pushed him to the ground and started kicking him, and then grabbed his phone and headphones, cops said. The jerks fled towards Nevins Street, according to authorities.
Cashed out
A nogoodnik threatened a Court Street store employee with a gun and stole a wad of cash on April 3, police said.
The victim told police the baddie, wearing a black mask, walked into the store near Bergen Street at about 6:20 pm while no one else was inside and pointed a small black handgun, saying “Put the money in the bag, I will beat the s— out of you.”
The crook placed a green drawstring bag on the counter, shoved the victim into the back room, and told him to get on the ground, officials said. The punk ran out of the store with $371, according to authorities.
Tax tirade
A punk hurled a clipboard at a guy in a Willoughby Street tax service business on April 4, police said.
The 36-year-old victim told police the malefactor became aggressive when he told her she couldn’t have her money because the Internal Revenue Service is holding it. She then chucked a clipboard at his head inside the storefront near Jay Street at about 4 pm, cops said.
Pocket pilferer
Some baddie swiped an old man’s wallet while he was walking home on York Street on April 2, police said.
The 88-year-old victim told police he was walking near Gold Street at about 9:53 am when some sneak reached into his right back pocket and stole his wallet with this social security card, Medicaid card, and license inside, and then fled, according to authorities.
Shopping free spree
A crook swiped a bunch of jackets from a Joralemon Street department store on April 6, police said.
The punk walked out of the store near Court Street at about 1 pm without paying for his new clothes, cops said.
