Three musketeers
A pack of three villains slashed a man’s hand with an unknown weapon and grabbed his neck during a robbery on Shore Road on Dec. 31, the man reported on Jan. 1.
The crooks cornered the man at around 6:40 pm near 97th Street. One of the ruffians had initially contacted the man asking for $20, and when the man met her to give her the money, her two other friends approached him from across the street, before the three cornered him, demanding that he give them “everything else” he had.
But when the man said he had nothing else on him, one of the two accomplices grabbed him around the neck from behind and cut his hand before all three fled on 97th Street towards Marine Avenue in a white van.

The crook took the car from the driveway between Third and Fourth avenues at some point between 2 pm on Dec. 31 and 7 pm the next day. The owner of the car said that he did not have keys, but his worker did. The car was not towed and had no outstanding tickets, according to police.
Take-out
Police arrested a man who they say stole $600 from an 11th Avenue restaurant on Jan. 1.
Officers say the man made off with the cash from the eatery at 66th Street at around 6:50 am, after he cut locks on the basement entrance to enter the building, and then broke the stock room closet door and two registers to grab the cash.

A good-for-nothing stole a blue work van from Shore Road sometime overnight on Jan. 3, according to police.
The no-goodnik drove off with the car parked near Mackay Place at some point between 8:30 pm on Jan. 3 and 7:30 am the next day. The owner of the car said it had outstanding tickets.
