Making the rounds
A burglar broke into a Fourth Avenue building twice on the same day, stealing laptops, video game systems, a cellphone and a duffle bag on April 26.
The gamer victim told cops that he left his crib, which is between 84th and 85th streets, at 10 am and locked the door. When he returned at 7 pm, he didn’t notice signs of a break-in, but his gadgets were gone.
That same afternoon, another resident of the building between 84th and 85th streets told cops that she returned at 2 pm to find that a designer handbag, electric scale, jewelry and $720 were missing.
Car break-in
Someone jacked jewelry and a navigation system from a car parked on 91st Street overnight on April 23.
The victim told cops that he left his 2002 Chevy between Third and Fourth avenues at 8 pm and returned the following afternoon to find his car window broken and his goods gone.
In addition to the navigation system, the bandit made off with a ring, necklace and a diamond charm.
Cell hell
Some thug mugged a 14-year-old kid near Eighth Avenue and 66th Street on April 29.
The teen victim told cops that an unknown goon approached him at 2 pm and stated “Run your phone.” The bold kid refused, so the perp punched him in the nose. The thug then jacked the cellphone and fled.
