Burglar drills into woman’s home and takes thousands in jewelry and electronics

A criminal broke into a woman’s home on Centre Mall and stole a few thousand dollars in jewelry and electronics sometime between March 22 and March 27, police said.

The woman left for vacation and when she returned to her home between Henry and Clinton streets five days later, she found that some scoundrel had drilled a hole through the lock in her door and stole a Vizio television, Air Mac, Jordan sneakers, an Apple iPad mini, and a necklace, earrings, and a Michael Kors watch, according to authorities.

School bully

A jerk harassed a 16-year-old girl with a metal detector wand inside a Hoyt Street school on March 20, police said.

The 25-year-old suspect touched the victim with the wand inside the school between Douglass and Butler streets at about 9:30 am, according to authorities.

Escalated argument

A baddie assaulted a woman near Baltic Street on March 14, police said.

The victim was near Hoyt Street at 4:21 pm when she and the nogoodnik got into a verbal argument, which escalated when the rogue attacked the woman, causing injury to her neck and shoulder, according to authorities. The two know each other, officials said.

Street sneak attack

Two malefactors pushed a woman to the ground on Bond Street on March 24, police said.

The 31-year-old woman told police she was walking between Wyckoff and Baltic streets at about 8:30 pm when the two villains struck her, pushed her to the ground, and started kicking her, according to authorities.

The victim couldn’t see what the nogoodniks looked like and they didn’t get anything, officials said.
