A burglar nabbed $12,000 worth of jewelry from a man’s Ocean Avenue home on June 24.

The victim told police he left his house near Jerome Avenue at 8:30 a.m., and returned at 7:30 p.m. to find his home looted, and valuables including an engagement ring, silver necklace, gold rings and gold bracelets stolen, cops said.

Wigging out

Cops arrested three men for allegedly stealing a woman’s phone, wig and food on Quentin Road on June 24.

The victim told police she was heading back to work at her job near E. 17th Street at 7:17 p.m. when the suspects ambushed her from behind. The attack caused the victim to suffer minor injuries to the back, arms, and face, cops said.

During the altercation one of the three men fled with her Chinese food. The other two snatched her wig and phone, police said.
