Welcome home

A marauder stole $300, credit and debit cards, and jewelry from a woman’s Highlawn Avenue home on March 10.

The woman told police she returned to the home between W. 13th Street and Stillwell Avenue at around 8:30 pm, when she found that a burglar had entered the home through the back door. There were no signs of forced entry, and the house was not ransacked, according to the report, but the woman said she may have left the door unlocked, according to the report.

Mystery ride

Someone stole a 1998 BMW from Benson Avenue at some point between March 8 and 9.

Girlhood gone wrong

Someone told the woman her backpack was open when she was at the store between Bay 31st and Bay 32nd streets at around 1 pm, and when she went to close it, she discovered her wallet was gone, she told officers.

High steal

A pair of filchers stole an estimated $5,000 worth of over-the-counter medications from an 86th Street store on March 10.

The sneaks grabbed the goods and threw them into a large garbage bag at the store between Bay 40th and Bay 41st streets just after 8 pm, cops said.
