Burglars target Greenpoint and Williamsburg businesses

Police are on the hunt for a pair of burglars who they say knocked off a dozen businesses in Greenpoint and Williamsburg over the past month and a half.

The crafty burglars generally broke into bars and restaurants while they were closed, police said.

The burgling pair first struck Connie O’s Pub on Norman Avenue between Newel and Diamond streets in the morning hours of June 18. Their latest heist occurred sometime between 10 pm on July 25 and 9:30 am on July 26 at Ameena Florists on Norman Avenue between Diamond and Jewel streets.

In each of the incidents, the thieves pried their way in with a metal bar, stole money out of the cash register, and then sped off in a minivan.

Here is a list of recent burglaries believed to have been perpetrated by the pair:

•Connie O’s Pub, 158 Norman Ave., Greenpoint. Between 4 am and 10 am on June 18.

•Mrs. Kim’s, 160 Franklin St., Greenpoint. Between 3 am and 6:30 am on June 28.

•TBD Bar, 224 Franklin St., Greenpoint. Between 5 pm on July 2 and 3:40 am on July 3.

•Grandma Rose’s, 457 Graham Ave., Williamsburg. Between 12:57 am and 3 am on July 3.

•One Stop Beer Shop, 134 Kingsland Ave. Between 4:37 am and 5 am on July 21.

•Cookie Road, 94 Franklin St. Between 11 pm on July 21 and 6:30 am on July 22.

•Freddy Food Market, 257 Driggs Ave. Between 1:53 am and 1:56 am on July 22.

•Boulevard Tavern, 579 Meeker Ave. At 5:33 am on July 22.

•Fat Goose, 125 Wythe Ave. 3:09 am on July 26.

• Modca, 103 N. Third St. Between 11 pm on July 25 and 6 am on July 26.

• Oslo Coffee Shop, 133 Roebling St. 1:50 am on July 25.

• Ameena’s Florist, 183 Norman Ave. Between 8 pm on July 25 and 9:30 am on July 26.
