Hundreds of hipsters flocked to Bushwick’s Moore Street Saturday for the fourth annual Bushwick Block Party.
The all-day fest took over the block between Bogart and White streets, clogging the industrial lane with buzzed-about bands, fancy food trucks, and a smorgasbord of subcultural activities.
“There was a lot of music, people, and excitement,” said Moore Street resident David Maron.
Musicians played on multiple stages while partygoers rode skateboards, did keg stands, and channeled their inner elementary schoolers in sweaty rounds of double Dutch. Queens rapper and sometimes chef Action Bronson took the stage in the evening after hours of serving up lamb burgers and other select eats from a food truck emblazoned with his mug.
Moore Street pizzeria Roberta’s organized the shindig and dished out dozens of pies to the masses, donating 10 percent of the proceeds to the hunger-fighting charity St. John’s Bread and Life. Other vendors included Red Hook Lobster, Yuji Ramen, and Crif Dogs.
