Not even Jose Reyes could revive the dying Brooklyn Cyclones.

The Mets star joined the Cyclones in a rehab start, and hit the ball well, but the Brooks fell to the Spinners in a bid to sweep a three-game set.

Cyclone starter Marcos Camarena giving up three homers — for eight earned runs total — in his five innings.

Meanwhile, Reyes was 0-2 in his first at-bats, though he hit the ball hard in both outs.

In the home sixth, Reyes finally proved to be the sparkplug he has been all season for the Mets, leading off with a standup double, and later scoring when Seth Schwindenhammer failed to make a great catch on Charles Thurber’s line drive.

Schwindenhammer made it up to his Lowell mates, however, homering twice on the day.

Cyclone Richard Lucas added a solo shot of his own in the eighth, his eighth of the year, but it was too little, too late.

The loss dropped the struggling Clones to 16-14 on the year, six-and-one-half games behind the first-place Staten Island Yankees.

The Cyclones return home vs. the Aberdeen Ironbirds at MCU Park [1904 Surf Ave. at W. 17th Street in Coney Island, (718) 449-8497] on July 21 at 7 pm. For info, visit www.brooklyncyclones.com.
