The Bensonhurst West End Community Council (BWECC) will hold its 48th Annual Dinner Dance, November 19 at the El Caribe Country Club, 5945 Strickland Avenue. Cocktail hour starts at 5:30 p.m.
Among the BWECC honorees will be United Federation of Teachers District 21 Rep. Judy Gerowitz (Educator of the Year); Principal of PS 90, Madelene Taub Chan (BWECC’S Woman of the Year); Barry Fein, principal of Seth Low IS 96 (BWECC’S Man of the Year); Assemblyman William and Mary Colton (2008 Couple of the Year); Vice President of District 21’s Presidents Council Cecile Iocono, Parents Association president at PS 216 (“Cesaria Soccoa Parent of the Year Award”); and Iris D. Baum (BWECC Network Leader of the Year).
The presentations and dinner will immediately follow the cocktail hour.
