Cabbie stiffed, but passenger is collared

No fare!

A thief tried to stiff a cabbie after an expensive ride – but got busted on Prospect Place on Dec. 12, cops said.

The 51-year-old cab driver told cops that he was dropping his lady passenger at Flatbush Avenue at 11:51 pm when the jerk refused to pay the $48 fare.

Cops arrested a 29-year-old woman and charged her with the theft.

Pilfered

A couple of thugs mugged a teenager for electronics and a really fancy pair of headphones on Plaza Street East on Dec. 19.

The 19-year-old victim told cops that he was near Vanderbilt Avenue at 5:10 pm when two men sneaked up on him.

“Gimme what you got or I will shoot you,” one man said, prompting the teenager to hand over two iPods, a Blackberry and a $500 pair of Dr. Dre cans.

Hall harass

A thief brutally mugged a woman and swiped her purse on Pacific Street on Dec. 18.

The 22-year-old victim told cops that she was in the hallway of her building between Washington and Grand avenues at 10:45 pm, when the man pushed her and stole her bag.

Snow jacked

A jerk broke into a car on Bergen Street between Dec. 17 and 18.

The 35-year-old victim told cops that he parked at 5 pm, and returned at 8:30 pm the next day to find his trunk lock broken and his beloved snow shoes removed.
