Bridge over troubled waters

A nogoodnik followed a woman as she was walking across a bridge on E. 14th Street on Jan. 29 and swiped her bag, police said.

The woman told police she was near Emmons Avenue at about 8:30 pm when the crook approached her and tried to grab her bag. The woman screamed for help, but after trying to stop him from stealing her bag with her driver’s license, iPhone, cash and credit cards inside, the baddie swiped it and fled on foot, according to authorities.

Shots fired

A punk walked into a commercial building on Avenue U on Feb. 1 and fired three shots in an attempt to rob the place, police said.

The yahoo entered the building near E. 18th Street at about 6:15 pm and said “This is a robbery,” officials said. Someone else in the building sprayed pepper spray and hid in the back room when the malefactor fired three shots and then fled, according to authorities.

The cur jumped in a dark sedan with a second jerk and fled on E. 19th Street, police said. The person in the building isn’t sure if the miscreant stole anything, officials said.

Snack time

Two toughs stole a bunch of food from a Coyle Street bodega on Feb. 4, police said.

A store worker saw the a man and woman walk into the store near Avenue V at about 3:30 pm and put merchandise in a black Nike duffle bag. The thieves did pay for $8 worth of items — but didn’t pay for the rest, worth $107, according to authorities.

The worker confronted them about stealing the stuff and the guy pushed and elbowed him in the face, police said.

Sneak thief

A baddie broke into a guy’s E. Fifth Street house by cutting open the screen window sometime between Jan. 25 and Jan. 29, police said.

The victim told police he returned to his place between Avenue V to find the screen on his basement door cut and pushed open and necklaces, rings, earrings, a Nintendo WII, and an iPad mini gone.

Ransacked

A burglar entered a man’s Ocean Avenue apartment while he was out on Feb. 2 and stole his cash and jewelry, police said.

The guy left his home near Avenue W to go the doctor’s office around 6 pm and when he returned at 7:30 pm saw his balcony door was broken and his bedroom was a mess.

The snake stole cash, a women’s metal watch, a man’s watch, a silver ring, and a gold ring, according to authorities.

Lost collection

A nogoodnik made his way into a guy’s E. 14th Street apartment while he was out on Feb. 3 and stole his cash and coin collection, according to authorities.

The man told police the intruder broke the glass on the front door of the home near Avenue S and unlocked it at about 8:30 am and swiped his old coins, cash, and a gold pendant, officials said. The thief fled on a bicycle, police said.

Big break

A malefactor broke into a woman’s apartment on Bragg Street on Feb. 4, ransacked the place, and stole thousands of dollars worth of her things, police said.

The woman told police the scoundrel forcefully entered her apartment near Shore Parkway at about 7 pm and swiped her iPad, earrings, Xbox games, and Air Jordan sneakers, according to authorities. The owner of the downstairs apartment told police he saw the weasel flee in a black Infiniti, officials said.
