Canarsie shooter slays one, wounds another

Cops are searching for a gunman who shot and killed one man, while wounding another in front of an E. 104th Street apartment building on July 10.

A witness reported the shooting between Farragut and Glenwood roads at 2:56 a.m., and police arrived to discover 27-year-old Canarsie resident Justin Kelly shot in the head, and a 36-year-old man with a bullet wound to the neck, police said.

Both men were taken to Brookdale Hospital, where Kelly was pronounced dead and the other man remains in stable condition, cops said.

There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
