If you’ve ever wondered if your dog is socially acceptable, there’s only one way to find out.
The Kings County Kennel Club (KCKC) is hosting an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test May 17, open to all purebred and mixed breed dogs.
The CGC is a non-competitive test for owners to show that their dog(s) have good passable, social manners. Each dog and its owner/handler will be tested and evaluated individually as a team, and testing will be held at the Wollman Rink in Prospect Park at Ocean and Parkside avenues.
Entries will be taken from 10 a.m. and judging will begin at 12 p.m.
The fee is $10 (non-refundable). KCKC may make changes if necessary. Free parking and restrooms are available.
