Executive Director of the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Winsome McLean-Davis, was presented with the Church Women United Community Service Award by Ophelia Perry, president of the Brooklyn Chapter of Church Women United, during the organization’s award luncheon.
For nearly three decades, Church Women United has acknowledged and celebrated the work and leadership contributions that women have made to the Brooklyn community.
McLean-Davis was honored for her work at CNR, a member of the Beth Abraham Family of Health Services, where she was instrumental in working with the Brooklyn church community to help educate its members on important health care issues.
McLean-Davis and the nursing staff at CNR work with members of the church group and community leaders to bring a variety of health care events to the neighborhood. McLean-Davis was also instrumental in coordinating with local public schools to develop an intergenerational program at CNR.
